- Change the water from the aquarium as often as needed. Do not let the dirt and moss reside on the surface of the aquarium.
- Always check the water if it’s too hot or cold. Both can harm your turtles. Water that is too warm can affect their hibernation as well as too cold water may affect their appetite and will not be able to move freely.
